We have a small flock of Jacob sheep.  We hope to increase our flock size to 30 ewes and 3 rams over the next few years.  Our sheep graze open pasture most of the year.  The only time they are supplemented is when there is too much snow on the ground for them to dig thru, then we use locally grown alfalfa.
